Yes, I know very well Irfanview and many other options for image resizing exist these days.
I can do coding as well, it is not a problem to write even HTML inside an article.
One reason to post this question is that I am a bit lazy. Articles will be part of a blog, short news, or whatever it is called.
I have pictures and text and I want Joomla to do the rest. Probably you know Facebook. Yes, this is implemented there. Probably this is implemented on some other social media and not-so-social CMS-es. The world is going lazy, no one is resizing before posting. We have servers, PHP, and even AI.
Joomla is offering me only 2 images per article - an intro image and a full-text image. And this is from a long time ago. I would say from 10 years. Or more. And I see nothing new. No core function to handle more images than these two. And the world moved to mobile during this era. Images should be responsive, etc. Sorry for the long post.
